Quality assurance starts before analysis

The KCanG requires cultivation associations to comply throughout their activities and to avoid health risks beyond the typical risks of cannabis consumption. Regular sampling helps assess quality and suitability for transfer.

Good professional practice includes controlled cultivation, hygiene, drying and storage. Security against unauthorised access and traceable inventory handling are also part of the system.

Traceability connects every step

Continuous records connect the origin of propagation material, stocks, cultivated, transferred and destroyed quantities, and documented transfers. Statutory records are retained for five years and supplied electronically to the authority on request.

Traceability creates an auditable quantity and process chain and enables targeted action when a particular health risk is known or suspected.

Reading laboratory values correctly

A laboratory report describes the sample tested. THC and CBD results cannot automatically be applied to later batches of the same variety. Expected values from breeders or variety descriptions are not measurements.

A factual reading considers the sample ID, date, scope and result together. AVK Club therefore identifies published values by sample and does not derive effect claims or general quality rankings from them.

Transparency has boundaries

Members may request the unchanged original reports using the relevant sample reference. Public pages show the measurements and revision information needed for context.

Personal data, security-sensitive operational detail and full reports subject to copyright restrictions do not automatically belong in public. Transparency means traceable claims, not unrestricted disclosure of every document.
